Dr. Hunter Skoog was raised here in Longview and graduated from Pine Tree High School. Go Pirates! After attending Texas A&M University in College Station and receiving his Bachelor’s in Biomedical Engineering, Dr. Skoog went on to earn his medical degree from Texas A&M University College of Medicine in Temple, Texas.
He continued his training with a five-year residency in Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in Birmingham, Alabama. This intensive training encompassed all aspects of ear, nose, and throat, head and neck surgery, including both adult and pediatric training.
As a native of East Texas, Dr. Skoog was excited to have the opportunity to return to Longview upon completion of his medical training.
