Tiffany McKinney, Doctor of Audiology, is a native of Arkansas and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of the Ozarks in Clarksville, Arkansas. In 2011, she completed her Doctor of Audiology degree at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) in Little Rock, Arkansas, and has since received her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A). Dr. McKinney has a broad background in adult and child diagnostic audiology and has experience in fitting hearing aids for children and adults. She has a passion for working with patients of all ages. She participated as a clinical research assistant during her graduate studies, performing hearing evaluations, fitting hearing aids and conducting auditory brainstem response and speech auditory brainstem response testing on adults and children. Dr. McKinney has done extensive research on hearing damage due to leisure noise exposure from personal listening devices, especially in the younger population. She has found that listening behaviors today suggest the need for public education on hearing safety directed primarily at young people. Dr. McKinney and her husband are new to Longview. She enjoys being outdoors and spending time with her family and husband. Dr. McKinney is an active member of her church, where she enjoys teaching children. She also enjoys hiking, camping and sports.
